Ericka Leonard, LCSW-C

I am a dedicated and experienced therapist specializing in complex trauma and eating disorders, with extensive experience working with survivors of childhood abuse, sexual trauma, and intimate partner violence. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive, aiming to empower clients to reclaim their lives and well-being.I particularly enjoying working with young adults, military members and their families, as well as athletes. If you are looking to improve your quality of life through self-exploration, I believe that therapy can help. You will gain coping skills, increase self-care, and gain the confidence to know that you are enough. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual to empower clients to become the best versions of themselves, and use aspects of different evidence-based modalities in therapy.

My prior experience includes:

  • Program Director of a residential eating disorder program for adolescents.

  • Lead Clinical Therapist at a domestic violence shelter.

  • Forensic Interviewer at a Child Advocacy Center.

  • Crisis Center therapist

As a social worker, I am deeply committed to practicing through a social-justice and decolonized lens.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy international travel, exploring diverse cuisines, and spending time with my dog. I am also an avid runner and enjoy participating in CrossFit to maintain my own well-being.
