Compassion, authenticity, and empathy are the foundation of a strong and collaborative therapeutic relationship, and I take a relational approach to my clinical work. My primary clinical focus and expertise lie in the areas of complex trauma and eating disorders, with extensive training and experience working with clients who have experienced trauma stemming from childhood abuse, sexual trauma, and/or intimate partner/domestic violence. I particularly enjoying working with young adults, military members and their families, as well as athletes. If you are looking to improve your quality of life through self-exploration, I believe that therapy can help. You will gain coping skills, increase self-care, and gain the confidence to know that you are enough. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual to empower clients to become the best versions of themselves, and use aspects of different evidence-based modalities in therapy.

I have clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. I work with survivors of trauma, those struggling with eating disorders and body image concerns, and survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, as well as those with mood/anxiety disorders.

Prior to entering the field of Social Work, I taught middle school at a K-12 independent school. I have also served as the Program Director of a residential eating disorder program for adolescents, and also have experience working as the lead clinical therapist at a domestic violence shelter. Additionally, I have worked as a Forensic Interviewer for a local Child Advocacy Center, as well as a therapist at a Crisis
Center. I have been working with clients in the outpatient private practice setting since 2018.

As a social worker, I am deeply committed to practicing through a social-justice and decolonized lens.

In my free time, I enjoy international travel, and particularly enjoy trying new foods and recipes and exploring the food scene wherever I go! I also like to hang out with my dog (a Westie!), and go to Crossfit.
